Wheezy - hibernace

Zdravím ..
poradil by někdo, jak zprovoznit hibernaci na Debian Wheezy? Zkoušel jsem návod tady http://wiki.debian.org/Hibernation/Hibernate_Without_Swap_Partition .. a nějak se nedaří. po nastavení všeho podle návodu mi to napíše tuto hlášku .. s2disk: Could not use the resume device (try swapon -a). Reason: No such device

chybová hláška ukazuje na neexistující swap na zařízení. Podíval bych se na  nastavení:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="resume=/dev/sda1 quiet" v zavaděči a
The "resume offset = 8288" is where the swapfile actually is, and "resume device" must be the partition and not the swap file.
v /etc/uswsusp.conf

resume device mám nastaveno na root partition, to by tak snad mělo být. Ale kde zjistim hodnotu toho resume offset, to mi nějak není jasné. Co tam mám nastaveno, to se tam nastavilo samo při "dpkg-reconfigure uswsusp".
Swap v systému nemám, proto jsem se to pokoušel nastavit podle toho návodu pro systém bez swap.
