On these pages are notes I've been making on my experience installing and using Debian's GNU/Linux, on a Compaq CQ-40 laptop.
I'm quite new to Linux (2+ yrs) and I don't know why I didn't try it out sooner ...

Rufus is a small utility that helps format and create bootable USB flash drives, such as USB keys/pendrives,
memory sticks, etc. It can be especially useful for cases where:
you need to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
you need to work on a system that doesn't have an OS installed
you need to flash a BIOS or other firmware from DOS
you want to run a low-level utility
Despite its small size, Rufus provides everything you need!

My name's Philipp Kern. I'm a Debian Developer since 2005 and I signed up for the following tasks:
Stable Release Manager and release assistant for testing, Wanna-build team, Buildd administration, s390(x) porting, debian-installer developer, and some (honestly) unimportant packages.
I also have a blog about networking, both proprietary and otherwise.
