Skúšal som len wakeonlan.. Magic packet posielam z windows-u.

Problém je taký že to funguje len v prípade ak notebook vypínam s aktívnym ethernet profilom, so zapojením káblom

Dokonca to funguje len vtedy ak sa prihlásim. Ak sa neprihlásim- zapojím kábel, vypnem ntb cez ssh - nefunguje.
Myslím že wicd vypína sieťovú kartu, lebo ak nabootujem windows a chcem použiť lan profil tak mi to niekedy vypíše že "adaptér LAN je vypnutý"

Takže: ako zaistiť aby bola sieťová karta vždy zapnutá?

Tak inak: ako zaistiť aby debian za žiadnych okolností nevypínal lan rozhranie? Pripomínam že používam wicd.

Skúšal som aj postup na http://wiki.ubuntu.cz/Wake%20On%20LAN ..no nepomohlo
Už fakt neviem čo s tým.

Tak znova sa na Vás obraciam pre pomoc.
Podla návodov, čo som našiel na internete, som si spojazdnil wake on lan.

upravil som /etc/default/halt
NETDOWN=no

do etc/network/interfaces som pridal:
post-up /usr/sbin/ethtool -s eth0 wol ubmg
post-down /usr/sbin/ethtool -s eth0 wol ubmg

Samozrejme som to aktivoval aj v BIOS-e.

Problém je taký že to funguje len v prípade ak notebook vypínam s aktívnym ethernet profilom, so zapojením káblom. Ak je aktívny profil wifi, vypnem notebook potom zapojím kábel a dám odoslať magic packet tak..nič.

Tak zdá sa že to pomohlo.. díky moc  :D

Okej..vyskušam to a potom napíšem výsledok.

Nejde ani tak o to aby to bolo staticky, ale o to aby sa ta IP-čka nemenila.
Teraz, ako som pisal, aj ked sa načíta IP adresa z DHCP, po chvíli sa načíta druhá.

Mam tam toto:

Mám taký zaujimavý problém..situácia:
Existuje jediný profil pre káblovú sieť a v tom profile je nastavená statická IP adresa. Tá sa nastaví, ale po určitom čase (pár minút) sa načíta IP-čka z DHCP servera.
Skúsil som vymazať profil, vytvoriť nový profil..nič.
Skúšal som aby sa používala posledná konfigurácia, defaultná konfigurácia ( pričom som za defaultnú označil práve tú so statickou IP) - nič.

Tak som to vzdal, zmazal profil ,vytvoril nový s dynamickou IP. Zdalo sa OK, IP adresa sa načíta z DHCP.. a potom sa po určitom čase načíta iná IP adresa z  DHCP.   :(

Keď som pripojení cez wifi tak žiadny problém ( pritom tiež používam statickú IP adresu)

Už fakt neviem čo s tým..  :(

Tak teraz neviem.. skusil som nastavit obnovaciu frekvenciu zo 60 na 50Hz a zatial sa zda ze to uz neblika.  ???
Skusim pre istotu ešte aj to
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nomodeset"
z toho ubuntu fóra.
Lebo ono to bliká dost nepravidelne..
Keby sa to vratilo tak skúsim to s tou wifi ako pisal branec.

takze vse vypada OK. Jeste kouknout do logu, jestli se nenajde neco tam a pokusit se vysledovat, jestli to problikavani neco nevyvolava (konkretni aplikace nebo nejaka aktivita).

Ehm...a do akého logu presne? (som začiatočník)

Ešte by ma zaujimalo či je tento návod bezpečný.. píše sa tam aj o konfiguracii xorg.conf  - čo by mohol byt problém kedže ho nemám

V podstate aj mne to ide bez problémov -taktiez ide HD video- len to sem tam preblikne.
Nerobí to nejak pravidelne..zatial sa mi to nepodarilo odsledovať.
V každom prípade len fakt, že viem že to môže spraviť hocikedy, je dosť nepríjemný.. ???

nikto nevie?

Zdravím...pred časom som nainštaloval na moje Lenovo debian squeeze - všetko ok až na fakt že mi občas preblikne displej.
Grafiku mam Intel GMA 4500MHD
Nie som si ani istý či mám nainštalované ovladače - ako to zistím? Prípadne ako by som nainštaloval nové ?

Prosím pomôžte , dost to otravuje.
